Biography

Born and raised in Bangalore, amidst a family of engineers, I sought to forge my own path. Eager to explore my interests, I engaged in a myriad of internships during college, each offering valuable insights into various industries. Alongside my Academic pursuits, I dedicated myself to sports, achieving National-level recognition as a Water Polo player and Swimmer. This background instilled in me a deep appreciation for teamwork and perseverance. Upon completing my Post-Graduation in Liberal Arts from Ashoka University, I decided to merge my passion for Sports with my communication skills, aspiring to become a Sports Anchor.

Upon completing my Post-Graduation in Liberal Arts from Ashoka University, I decided to merge my passion for Sports with my communication skills, aspiring to become a Sports Anchor.

Education

Completed my Schooling from Delhi Public School, Bangalore South, where I was honored to be chosen as the Sports Vice Captain in 12th grade. Though I studied science in 11th and 12th grade, I decided to pursue my passion for humanities and completed my Bachalors and Postgraduate Diploma at Ashoka University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Entrepreneurship. During my time at Ashoka University, I embraced various Leadership roles, notably being Elected as the first female Sports Minister in the Student Government. I also contributed to the Alumni Relations Committee and actively participated in Startup Events. The liberal arts education at Ashoka University allowed me to explore my curiosity and hone my creative freedom, making me a well-rounded individual.

Education

I began swimming at the age of 5, which paved the way for my journey to becoming a national-level swimmer and water polo. As the youngest member of the Karnataka water polo team, I proudly contributed to our bronze medal victory at the National Games. My dedication to the sport earned me numerous national medals at both Junior and Senior levels. I was part of two Indian Team camps, further honing my competitive spirit. I also played basketball at the Inter-School level and excelled in athletics, running the 200 and 400 m events for my School. In College, I diversified my athletic pursuits by exploring cricket and ultimate frisbee for fun. Currently, running marathons has become my favorite way to stay fit. Sport has played a crucial role in shaping my character and leadership skills.

It was during these formative years that my passion for sports and broadcasting blossomed, culminating in my first role as a Co-Host for a show during the Khelo India Games. My inclination towards Sports Broadcasting stems from a deep-seated passion for both Sport and storytelling.
